Dear District 80 Club Officers,

 

Thank you for meeting the quorum, with more than 1/3 of our club Presidents and VPE's or their proxies, attending the District Council Meeting on 20 May 2016! The softcopy of the report has been upload on our district website for your perusal at: www.district80.org

 

For those at the District Council Meeting, I had stressed that the District has, in the beginning of the term, set our ultimate goal to be President Distinguished District. For everyone, currently, from the official TI website, the District Performance are as follows:

The District is working closely with each Divisions to achieve the Paid Clubs Goal with the full effort to charter 7 clubs or more. In the Membership Payment Goal, we need our Club Officers to help achieve the goal as we target to achieve 572 members before the term ends in 30 June 2016.

 

If each club add 3 members (including new / reinstate / dual membership) in the next 30 days, we shall be President Distinguished District. Moreover, by adding 5 members, the club will receive TI's “Beat The Clock” Award.

 

Please do not stop even if your clubs had already achieved your Distinguished status!

The District hopes to see all clubs ending the term with a BIG BANG and at the same time achieve our District Goals as A Team!

 

As for Club Officers, it is common that you are working towards fulfilling your club's goals, either matching the past term's distinguished results or aiming for a better one by comparing with the previous term. I congratulate you all for working towards finishing this term well!

Special highlight: not only will the District recognize the club’s team effort with the TI imported gold star trophies this term, we will also present the medal for each club presidents who achieve the distinguished status.
