ENDORSEMENT FOR DTM MICHAEL WEE, DTM

Distinguished Toastmaster Michael Wee is one of the few most
sought after toastmasters in Singapore. He is not only mature and experienced, but also well-versed with the Toastmasters International
rules and procedures.

In terms of leadership, Michael has the proven track record of
undertaking various important assignments at different levels in the Toastmasters organisation. His inter-personal skills required for the
smooth running of all matters are beyond doubt. Judging from the
favourable comments from all who have worked with him, one will
agree that the exemplary leadership style practised by him is his
passport to success.

Being conferred the title of Distinguished Toastmaster, Michael
definitely has acquired the requisite communication skills critical for
building of the bondage and rapport with all the parties that he has
to work with. Michael not only can speak, he will certainly deliver
what he has promised.

As a very committed toastmaster, Michael is best suited for being
entrusted with the higher responsibilities. On top of that, he has an understanding wife who can provide him with the needed assistance
should such need arise. That provides Michael with an additional
competitive edge over the other candidates.

I endorse without reservations Michael’s intention to run for the
Lieutenant Governor of Marketing of District 80 for the term 2005/06.

Edward Ma

Area S4 Governor (2002/03)

President, Kowloon-Singapore Toastmasters Club (2002/03)

With more than a decade of active service to the Toastmasters
Movement, coupled with the Division Governor of the Year Award
for the year 99/00, Michael is definitely THE PERSON for the job
of LGM for District 80.  He has served his fellow toastmasters well
in the previous offices he held.  I am confident all of us in District 80
can benefit even more, with him as our next LGM.

Lee Jin Hwui
Past Area S2 Governor for the Year 01/02
Past Club President for NBS Toastmasters for the Year 99/00

I have known Michael Wee DTM since I joined Toastmasters Club
10  years ago.

He was my mentor and still is my mentor today.

He is a great leader and motivator :

Under his leadership I had the opportunity to learn to organise toastmasters’ events and to be an effective leader as well as effective public speaker.

Michael was awarded the District 51 Division ‘S’ Division Governor Of The Year  1999-2000.  Many of the Clubs in Division S achieved excellence in the movement.

He listens :

He is open to feedbacks from toastmasters but never swayed by gossips.

He will adopt, implement and take action to help fellow toastmasters improve their leadership and public speaking skills unreservedly.

He leads by example :

In any events organised by him and his fellow toastmasters you will never get to see him NOT getting his hands dirtied.

" Here is the General who fought alongside his men in battlefields".

He is passionate :

He has 100% toastmasters blood in his veins.

Never say no or make excuses not to attend any clubs meeting and Toastmasters related activities.

He believes :

In the Toastmasters International Vision :

"Toastmasters International empowers people to achieve their full potential and realize their dreams.  Through our member Clubs, people throughout the world can improve their communication and leadership skills, giving them the courage to change".

He shares this vision and with a burning desire to help other toastmasters to achieve their full potential and realize their dreams.

Fellow toastmasters, I sincerely hope YOU will give your vote to DTM Michael Wee to realize yours and his dreams to make District 80 a better place to learn and horn our public speaking skills.

 Andrew Chen, ATMB

S4 Area Governor 2000/20001

Michael Wee, DTM - LGM Candidate 2005/2006

I have known Michael for a couple of years in a personal capacity and I have seen for myself how many clubs Michael has helped to form over the last few years.  You can see him everywhere.  Be it in the formation of the clubs, be it in the conducting of speech crafts, or be it in the advisory of the new leadership directions for the new clubs.  He has been there all!

In my opinion, Michael is a visionary leader who had great dreams for the Toastmasters movement.  His experience in forming clubs and helping to devise marketing plans for promoting the Toastmasters' movement is definitely an invaluable asset for District 80's future development and quest to become one of the most outstanding Districts in the future!

Give Michael the platform to exercise his passion and dreams for the Toastmasters program as the LGM candidate for the new term!  We need strong leaders like Michael to bring our District to World Class standard!

 Sharon Neo, CL

President

Fuchun Toastmasters Club

Division S District 80

I have known Michael since he first joined Toastmasters and I
have seen him serve in various Club appointments as well as Club
President, Area Governor and Division Governor.  Each time, he
had done a great job.  He is enthusiastic, committed and dedicated.

I am confident that he will show the same dedication and enthusiasm
as District 80 Lieutenant-Governor for Marketing 2005-2006.

Henry Soh, DTM
Division ‘S’ Governor  1996-1997

Michael is a capable and driven leader who has shown passion in
pursuing and promoting the Toastmaster cause.  He has always
shown support to events beyond his Club and Area which is
important for establishing networks and extending friendships.

On a personal front, what I like best about him is his ability to "mix
business with pleasure" all the time. He has shown that Toastmasters
need not be serious learning and leadership need not be strict control.
His ability to have fun and play as hard as he works (especially at
Toastmaster events) is an attractive quality that draws people to him.
They are not just members to him, they are family.

With the high level of commitment he has displayed and his
consistency in participating in all Toastmaster events big and small,
I believe he has the power to touch more lives who have yet to
discover the Toastmasters movement and bring the District to
greater heights!

Michael Wee, DTM
Candidate for Lieutenant-Governor Marketing 2005/2006

Michael had struck me a Master Salesperson for the Toastmasters
Program for he is constantly selling the Toastmasters' Dream to
anyone and everyone he comes into contact with, to help individuals
become better speakers and communicators.  Before I joined the
Toastmasters movement, I never knew that I could be able to speak
like what I did now, with more confidence and clarity.  I can't
imagine what life could be if Toastmasters did not cross my path.
I'm very grateful that because somebody had fervently sold the
toastmasters dreams to me that I'm able to help reach out to other
people.  Thanks Michael.

Being a dedicated veteran in the Toastmasters movement, Michael
had always been there for the fellow Toastmasters when they need
help.  He is always so sincere, so helpful, always without complains.

There is nowhere one can find another better leader and salespers
on than Michael as the LGM candidate.  I urge you all to give you
fullest support to Michael for he will be leader who could help bring
the Toastmasters movement to a greater height!

All the best to you Michael.  See you in Action soon!

Many Toastmasters have benefited through Michael
Wee’s involvement in the Toastmasters movement.  I, also, have
benefited through his Evaluation Workshop.  I have seen Michael as
Contest Judge and especially Chief Judge in Contests, and as Project
Evaluator and General Evaluator in other Clubs meetings.  In all these
appointments, he had been found to be sincere, committed and reliable.
He is humble, unassuming  and a dedicated Toastmaster.

I endorse Michael Wee as a candidate for the position of Lieutenant Governor Marketing 2005-2006 in District 80 .
