Mission Statement

Ong Chuan Aik joined Toastmaster in 1998. He started as a Sergeant-at-Arms in SIM I Toastmasters Club and has since held most club officer positions. He became President during his second year and had led the Club to become the President Distinguished Club. He continues to become the Area B1 Governor in 2000 – 2001.

I joined SIM I Toastmasters Club at the same time and have worked closely with him since. I am particularly impressed by his tireless commitment and passion for Toastmasters. His passion for Toastmasters had led him in chartering two clubs:

1.         SAPES Toastmasters Clubs

2.         Hamilton Sundstrand Toastmasters Clubs.

He has also mentored three clubs as follows:

1.         First Gourmet Toastmasters Clubs

2.         Rivervale Toastmasters Clubs

3.         Enliven Toastmasters Clubs.

Due to his perseverance, he was transformed from a novice speaker to a professional trainer.

As the current Assistant Division B Governor, Marketing, he had conducted 2 speechcraft programs for the following two clubs:

1.         Geylang Serai Toastmasters Club

2.         SIM I Toastmasters Club

As past President of SIM I Toastmaster Club, Area B1 Governor and Secretary of Division B Council, I am proud to announce his candidacy for Division B Governor, 2005 – 2006. I am sure with his passion and perseverance; he will lead Division B to greater heights.
