We are pleased to announce that Toastmasters Awareness Month (TAM) is scheduled to be in April this year.
The objectives of TAM2004 are as follow: 1) To promote awareness of toastmasters activities to members and public with emphasis on a.. Toastmasters' Mission b.. Member’s Promise c.. District's Theme – Expand Our Horizons ... In Speaking, In Leading, In Serving. 2) To get new members for Divisions (through Clubs). 3) To involve families in toastmasters activities, in line with theme of UN International Year of the Family.
More details on TAM 2004 will be put online at the Toastmasters Singapore Forum (TSF) @ http://willieloh.com/phpBB2/index.php to inform on the activities and provide updates.
As a value-add service to all clubs, the Organising Committee has initiated the project "Operation Purchase" to provide a conduit for all component Toastmasters Clubs in Singapore to order their TI supplies on a consolidated basis. A one-time 10% discount has been granted by TI for the order. With economies-of-scale, we would be able to achieve savings of up to 60% for the shipment cost for each order.
An OP_Order_Form has been put online for those clubs who are interested to benefit from this NOT-TO-BE-MISSED opportunity to stock up on their supplies. Do buy the advanced manuals, CTM/ATM/DTM badges, pins, T-shirts, etc in one go and enjoy the discount and low shipping charge available. Please contact your Club Officers for more information. Cut-off date for ordering for Club Officers to order online is 28 February 2004.
